Albania U19 for women starts the gathering, coach Krepi invites 20 footballers

The Albanian U-19 national team for girls has started gathering and preparations for the second round matches valid for the 2024 European Championship for this age group, where Albania has been drawn in group B2 in League B, together with Scotland, Liechtenstein and Cyprus.

The coach of the team, Kreshnik Krepi, has gathered 20 players for these important matches, where the red and black girls under 19 will seek to climb to the A League for the first time. The base of footballers who have received an invitation from the Albanian coach are from clubs of the Albanian championship, while 5 of them are active in championships abroad, with teams such as Leverkusen, Orion, Creighton, Atletico Club Amsterdam and Malisheva in Kosovo.

The red and black group will gather in Durrës, in the "Tropical" complex. The first match of Albania U-19 will be against Cyprus, on April 3 at the "Elbasan Arena" stadium at 15:30. After three days, on April 6, the girls' national team will face their peers from Lihtenshetjn, at the "Elbasan Arena" stadium at 15:30. On April 9, Albania's last challenge in this group will be played, where the red and black girls will play against the girls from Scotland. The final match will be played at the "Elbasan Arena" stadium at 15:30.

If the Albanian U-19 National Team is ranked first in the B7 group, then it also ensures promotion to the A League and will have a real chance to qualify for the next European Championship for this age group.

All matches of group B6 will be played in Albania on April 3, 6 and 9, while Albania's matches will take place at the "Elbasan Arena" stadium, while the other matches will be played at the "Home of Football".
