Albania challenges Luxembourg and Estonia, coach Grima gathers 20 footballers

The A girls' national team starts gathering and training for the new qualifying edition of the European Championship "Switzerland 2025" on Sunday. Albania is part of the C5 group, together with Estonia and Luxembourg. In this qualifying campaign, the red and black girls, under the guidance of coach Armir Grima, will seek to advance to the play-off stage.

Albania starts this new journey in the transfer against Luxembourg, with the match to be played on April 5, while four days later, the red and black girls will welcome the Estonian rivals at home.

In the framework of these two challenges, coach Armir Grima has gathered 20 female footballers. The return to the team of forward Klea Hamonikaj as well as midfielder Markela Bejleri stands out.

The red and black representatives will gather on March 31 in Tirana, as they will prepare for these two challenges in the premises of the "House of Football". On April 3, the National Team will travel to Luxembourg, where on April 5 they will play the first official match against the locals, at the "Émile Mayrisch" stadium at 19:30.

Meanwhile, on April 9, Albania will host the Estonian team at the "Air Albania" stadium. The match is scheduled to be played at 20:00, as the stadium doors will be open to all Albanian fans, in support of the red and black girls./ FSF
