One goal decides Turkey-Romania, Kosovo learns potential opponent

Kosovo's path to the 2026 World Cup has taken on a clearer look after the conclusion of the challenge between Turkey and Romania.

The Turkish national team has secured qualification for the play-off final after a 1-0 home victory. The match was decided in the 53rd minute by a goal from Ferdi Kadioglu, which was enough to eliminate Romania and book their place in the final.

This result means that if the "Dardans" manage to overcome the Slovakian hurdle, they will face Turkey for a place in the World Cup.

The great news for Dardanian fans is that, in case of qualification, the grand final will be played in Pristina.
