Albania U-19 disappointed, loses to Luxembourg

The Albanian U-19 national team played the first match of Group B4 in the European Championship qualifiers this afternoon, facing Luxembourg at the “House of Football”. The Red and Blacks, led by coach Fatjon Tafaj, played a hard-fought match, but were defeated with a score of 2-1.

Despite the double disadvantage in the first half, where the visitors scored in the 28th and 35th minutes, the Rossoneri reacted immediately.

Arman Durmishi narrowed the deficit in the 44th minute, after a beautiful move from a Cekrezi flank, bringing the team back into the game for the second half.

In the second half, Albania U-19 dominated the game, creating several dangerous chances for a goal, but without being able to convert them. Despite their efforts, the match ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of Luxembourg.

In the other match in Group B4, Norway won 1-0 against Malta at the "Niko Dovana" Stadium.

The national team will play the second match of this round against Malta on March 28. The match will take place at the "House of Football" at 3:00 PM.
