Changes in the formation, how Albania is expected to play against Ukraine

The Albanian national team is ready for the friendly match against Ukraine, which will be played this Tuesday evening in Valencia. Coach Silvinho is expected to make some moves in the formation, mainly in the offensive department, to test new alternatives, after the loss to Poland.

In attack, Armando Broja and Anis Mehmeti are expected to be activated from the first minute. Broja was used as a substitute in the last match against Poland, while Mehmeti remained on the bench throughout the match.

For this challenge, Mehmeti is expected to be placed on the left wing of the attack, while Broja in the center, as a reference point for the attacking phase.

Myrto Uzuni, who played in this position in the last match, is expected to be confirmed on the right wing of the offensive unit. These changes come as a result of the absences in the offensive unit.

Ernest Muçi will not be available for this match, having suffered an injury to his right thigh. The problem was confirmed after MRI examinations and the player has been removed from the squad to continue his recovery with his club, Trabzonspor.

His absence reduces the options in attack and increases the possibility of activating other players from the first minute.

Not many changes are expected in the defense department. Thomas Strakosha will be in goal. Stavro Pilo is expected to be activated on the left wing of defense, while captain Berat Gjimshiti will be in the center, accompanied by a midfielder Cake and Pllanë. Ivan Balliu will play on the right side of defense, instead of Elseid Hysaj.

The usual structure is also expected to be maintained in midfield, with Kristjan Asllani, Qazim Laçi and Juljan Shehu expected to get minutes from the start. This trio aims to guarantee a balance between the defensive phase and the construction of the game.

This friendly match serves as a test for the technical staff after official commitments, giving several players the opportunity to earn minutes and show their form in competitive conditions.

The match against Ukraine will take place in Valencia, starting at 20:45.
