Kosovo coach Franco Foda has stated that his team believes in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup before the play-off final against Turkey.

At the press conference, he described the opponent as very strong, mentioning players like Yildiz, Guler and Calhanoglu.

According to him, the chances of qualification are equal, 50-50. Foda emphasized that Kosovo has deservedly reached this stage and will give its maximum to win.

"The Turkish team is very strong also in terms of individual players like Yildiz, Guler and Calhanoglu, they are of quality, but we are also good. We are in the final with full merit, the chances are 50-50. We will give everything to win.

It is undoubtedly a very important event. We are playing for World Cup qualification. It is good to be motivated, but we must keep our heads in the sand.
