Anxiety and panic in training, coach loses consciousness

Romania national team coach Mirsea Lucescu caused moments of anxiety and panic during the team's training session ahead of a friendly match in Slovakia. The incident occurred during a technical meeting before the team held their final training session before departure.

During this meeting, Lucescu felt unwell and lost consciousness for a few moments in the presence of the players. First aid was immediately provided by his assistant, while the emergency services were then notified for specialized intervention.

After the arrival of medical teams, the coach was stabilized at the scene and then transported to a hospital in Bucharest for further checks. According to initial assessments by doctors, it is a condition caused by fatigue and stress, excluding more serious cardiac problems.
