Çalhanoglu worries Turkey and Inter

The final minutes against Romania have caused concern for Turkey and Inter. Midfielder Hakan Çalhanoglu was substituted in added time after he was seen touching his left calf and showing signs of physical discomfort.

The substitution came after the 90th minute, raising suspicions of a possible injury, but after initial assessments it appears that the player has not suffered any muscle problems. His condition is considered stable and does not pose a risk for the next match against Kosovo.

In this way, Çalhanoglu is expected to be available to coach Vincenzo Montella for Turkey's next match, scheduled for March 31. This meeting is crucial for qualification for the 2026 World Cup.

After the match, the player spoke to Turkish media, giving details about his physical condition and recent period. He emphasized that he had been going through an injury that lasted a month and a half and that this situation had also affected his psychological aspect.
