Tottenham are close to agreeing a deal with Roberto De Zerbi to become their new manager on a five-year contract.
The London club are looking for a successor to Igor Tudor, who left after just 44 days in charge. Sean Dyche was initially on the list as an alternative.
However, the management has De Zerbi as its priority and has made significant progress in negotiations. The long-term project presented by the club has convinced the Italian coach.
De Zerbi has been without a team for around two months after leaving Marseille. He has previous experience with clubs such as Palermo, Benevento, Sassuolo, Shakhtar and Brighton.
The final agreement is expected to be closed in the coming days.
