A great loss has struck the sports community of Korça. Albano Vaso, former Skënderbeg footballer and one of the city's most beloved figures, has passed away, leaving behind a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him.

Albano was the son of the Korçë football legend, Teodor Vaso, but above all he was a rare man, who earned the respect of all through his calm character, dedication and love for the sport. What I want to highlight about this very good boy is that he had a company and his friends loved him very much. He was a very loving person with others, he was a person who did not create any worries. The premature death, joining the death of his father 1 year ago, I think is even more severe and we really feel this loss, not only those of us who lived and worked with him, but also the sports fans of Korça because he deserved it for being a very good person. His death "It is a great regret, especially since I have family ties, I feel very sorry for this beloved man from the city of Korça ," said Xhambazi.

" It's about a smiling boy, a cheerful boy, a complete boy. Most importantly, he comes from a famous family in the city of Korça. It's a great loss for all of us, fellow footballers, the community and especially the family. I played with him in the 1980s, specifically from 1985 to 1992-1993, we were together in the Skënderbeg team. He came after me, because I'm a little older than Albanoja. Despite being Todo Vaso's son, he didn't want to be known as such, he was embarrassed by that part. With friends and within the team, he was a humorous boy, accepting jokes and remarks. I express my condolences to the family and all the people close to him. It's a great loss for us and the community of Korça ," said Rapo.
