Igli Tare, the recently appointed sporting director at Milan, has provided concrete details on the transfer market strategy for the new season.

In a recent interview, the Albanian confirmed that the club intends to bring in five new players, including two midfielders in addition to Luka Modric, two full-backs and a centre-forward. The priority remains building a quality midfield according to coach Allegri's requirements.

Tare stressed that Milan are looking for players with special characteristics for a three-man midfield formation. He also confirmed that Maignan will remain part of the squad.

"It's not a revolution, but some functional pieces need to be added, to create a game identity. We are looking for specific roles. The priority is the midfield, to increase the quality of the game, as requested by Allegri.
