Xhaka "stuck", Milan makes official offer for another Albanian

Milan has seriously entered the race for Ardon Jashari, the midfielder of Albanian origin who plays for the Swiss national team.

The Rossoneri have submitted an official offer of €30m plus bonuses, while Club Brugge are demanding €40m for his card. The relationship between the clubs dates back to the early days, having previously collaborated on the transfer of De Ketelaere.

Jashari scored 4 goals and provided 6 assists in 52 matches last season and is seen as Milan's main target in this transfer window.

As alternatives, Valencia's Javi Guerra and Leverkusen's Granit Xhaka remain. The latter is in Igli Tare's focus, although the Germans refuse to let him go.

The sale of Reijnders for €57m has opened up the possibility of new investments in midfield. Allegri meanwhile aims to consolidate the squad with names like Fofana, Loftus-Cheek and is also expecting Luka Modric.
