Roma puts Kumbulla up for sale, reveals which club is looking for him

With Gian Piero Gasperini now at the helm and Frederic Massara as sporting director, Roma have begun work on building their squad for the new season.

One of the issues that remains to be resolved is that of Marash Kumbulla, who ends his loan at Espanyol on June 30 and returns to the yellow and black team. The red and black defender had a very good season in La Liga, as an undisputed starter.

According to Italian media, Roma need to raise €10 million and Kumbulla has been included in the list of players for sale. However, the club has no intention of selling him for less than the €26.5 million purchase price.

Espanyol like the player, but are not ready to make a full financial investment. The Spanish club prefers to keep him for another season on loan.
