Skënderbeu begins preparations, Korçars choose new captain

The Skënderbeg team, under the leadership of coach Ernest Gjoka, has begun preparations for the new football season.

The first training session took place at the Skënderbeu Stadium, marking the official start of the preparatory phase. After the departure of Elvis Prenç, goalkeeper Marko Alia has been appointed the new team captain, confirming his continuity with the club.

The Korçë club is expected to intervene in the transfer market to strengthen the team with the aim of returning to the Superior Category. The technical and administrative leaders have expressed optimism for the coming season.

The main objective is to build a competitive group and return Skënderbeu to the elite of Albanian football. The first official approaches are expected in the coming days. For now, the focus is on the physical aspect and rebuilding internal cohesion in the team.
