Nations League/ Big win, Albania women's team secures place in League B

The Albanian women's national team achieved a great victory in the second play-out match against Cyprus, triumphing with a clean score of 3-0 at "Air Albania" and thus securing their place in League B of the Nations League.

Albania started the match quite well, unlike the first match in Cyprus, dominating from the first minutes and creating several dangerous chances. The first goal came in the 16th minute, when after a precise pass from captain Megi Doçi, Qëndresa Krasniqi sent the ball into the net, giving Albania a 1-0 lead.

In the 29th minute, Megi Doçi had another golden opportunity to double the score, but her attempt was deflected by the opposing goalkeeper into the corner.

Albania found its second goal in the 38th minute with Mesuare Begallo, who took advantage of a perfect cross from Megi Doçi and put the ball in the net for 2-0.

The first half ended with our girls' deserved advantage, 2-0.

In the second half, Albania continued to dominate. Captain Megi Doçi sealed the victory in the 66th minute, accurately executing a penalty kick for the score of 3-0. The red and black girls created several more chances, but the score remained unchanged until the end.

With this victory, Albania secures its place in League B and will be part of the groups of this league in the next edition of the Nations League.
