Nations League/ Women's National Team concludes preparations for decisive challenge against Cyprus

The Albanian women's national team held its final training session this afternoon ahead of the decisive match against Cyprus, which will determine their position in League B of the UEFA Nations League.

The training focused more on fun games and light exercises, to avoid physical strain before tomorrow's match. The Communications Department at the Albanian Football Association (AFH) reports that the team is in very good physical condition.

A positive news for coach Armir Grima and the red and black staff is the return of Ilarja Zarka, who missed the first match due to yellow cards, but is now ready to help the team.

Against Cyprus tomorrow, only a win counts. The red and black team must win by at least two goals to ensure their place in League B. If the victory is by only one goal, the match will go into extra time of 15 minutes.

The match will be played tomorrow at 18:00, at the “Air Albania” stadium. The first match between the two teams ended with a score of 3–2 in favor of Cyprus.
