Physical conflict before the match "Iliria-Skënderbeu" / Three

Three football players have been criminally prosecuted after they clashed in the locker room with players from the opposing team yesterday, before the start of the "Iliria-Skënderbeu" football match.

The players prosecuted are AS, BS and JS. Meanwhile, the police report states that another player was slightly injured.

Police announcement:

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Kruja Police Station: referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in the absence of citizens AS, BS and JS, all three footballers, after yesterday, before the start of the "Iliria-Skënderbeu" football match, they are suspected of having clashed in the locker room with the footballers of the opposing team. As a result, the footballer, citizen SN, was slightly injured.

We recall that upon the arrival of the Skënderbeg team at the stadium, there was an incident between the players and staff of the Iliria club, where they were involved in physical confrontations.

Due to these circumstances and the security concerns raised, it was decided that the match will not be played. The matter will be reviewed by the legal committees of the Albanian Football Association, which will make the final decision regarding this match. /CNA
