The U-17 national team lost the victory

The Albanian U-17 national team began its adventure in the second round of the U-17 European Championship qualifiers with a 2-2 draw against Latvia, in the match held at the "Arena Egnatia" in Rrogozhina.

The match did not start well for the Rossoneri, with Latvia taking the lead in the 2nd minute through Baltrusaitis. Albania's reaction was immediate and the team led by coach Armand Dama restored the balance in the 19th minute, when Armend Muslika was accurate from the penalty spot.

In the second half, the Rossoneri increased the pressure and managed to overturn the score in the 81st minute, again with Armend Muslikë as the protagonist, author of the second personal goal in this challenge. When it seemed that Albania was heading towards victory, Latvia equalized in the 88th minute with Blums, sealing the final score 2-2.

Albania thus takes the first point in Group B6 of League B and will continue its journey in this qualifying round with the next match against Ukraine, which will be played on June 9 at the "Arena Egnatia".
