Dumfries heading to Real Madrid, but Mourinho wants another player from Inter

Denzel Dumfries is very close to leaving Inter Milan for Real Madrid. The Spanish club are ready to pay the Dutch defender's release clause, which ranges from 20 to 25 million euros and can be activated between 1 and 15 July.

Dumfries, who turned 30 on April 18, joined Inter in the summer of 2021 from PSV for €12 million. His sale would provide the Bianconeri with a capital gain of around €15 million.

The money raised could be invested in bringing in Marco Palestra, the main target for the right wing.

Meanwhile, José Mourinho is also pursuing the return of Nico Paz to Madrid, activating the buy-back option for 9 million euros. The Portuguese coach has also shown interest in Alessandro Bastoni and Riccardo Calafiori.
