Duration of break, FIFA makes final decision on final

FIFA has determined the length of the break between halves for the World Cup grand final between Spain and Argentina.

According to the official announcement, the break at MetLife Stadium will last exactly 17 minutes, dispelling rumors of a break of more than half an hour.

Of this time, 11 minutes will be reserved for performances by guest artists such as Shakira, Madonna and Justin Bieber. The remaining six minutes will be used for stage management and watering the field.

The pitch itself remains a concern for the Spanish coaching staff, as the pitch has shown problems with the grass drying out in previous matches. Furthermore, due to the high temperatures, FIFA has confirmed that it will maintain the two-time hydration rule during the game.

This final promises to be one of the most watched events both for the sporting aspect and for the organized spectacle.
