Not only Ronaldo, Martinez makes Portugal's three captains official

Roberto Martinez is ready to start the adventure as the coach of the Portuguese national team. The Spaniard replaced Santos on the bench after the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The Lusitanians are part of Group J in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, along with Iceland, Slovakia, Bosnia, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.

Ahead of the home challenge against modest Liechtenstein, Martinez revealed the three captains of Portugal's national team.

" At the moment, the captains of the National Team will be the players with the most experience: Cristiano Ronaldo, Rui Patricio and Bernardo Silva.

It is very important to focus on the first game. Ten qualifying matches await us, so we must not make any mistakes ," Martinez emphasized.
