Premier League and Professional Football League clubs have paid a total of £1.3m in fines this season for aggressive behavior on the pitch.

"The Sun" has revealed the figures for the fines that English football's elite teams have paid so far this season after the incident that happened in the FA Cup quarter-final match between United and Fulham, where three red cards were shown in the space of 40 seconds for friends. But with striker Mitrovic, who pushed the referee and coach Marko Silva awaiting punishment, a further 54 teams from the 92 professional English football leagues have been fined for their behaviour.

Arsenal is the team that has paid the highest amount of fines from Premier League clubs this season (185,000 pounds), while Manchester United and Everton have paid 6-figure fines. Premier League leaders have been found guilty on four occasions of failing to control the behavior of their players this season. Only five Premier League clubs have not received fines for losing control on the pitch: Newcastle, Brentford, Leicester, Bournemouth and Southampton.

The FA has issued more than 100 fines to Premier League and EFL clubs, totaling £1,279,375. Premier League clubs alone have been fined £932,500 in total. And with Fulham's impending fine for Mitrovic and manager Silva's behavior towards the referee, it is expected that the total of 15 Premier League clubs fined will exceed the £1m mark. The highest fine this season has been received by Manchester City: 75,000 pounds for the conduct of its team in the confrontation with Arsenal at the Emirates last month.
