Two accusations against Adem, the Court of Pristina takes the security measure against the head of the FFK

The basic prosecutor's office of Prishtina, on Thursday at noon, requested the measure of house arrest for the president of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Agim Ademi. The 61-year-old man was detained on Wednesday for 48 hours by the police. He is suspected of having committed two criminal offences: ' breach of trust ' and ' tax evasion ' related to FFK.

Due to a health problem, Ademi spent Wednesday evening at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo. Specifically at the Thoracic Surgery Clinic, while his condition is reported to be good.

The preliminary hearing against Adem ended today. The Basic Court of Pristina decided to approve the request of the Prosecution, sending Ademi to house arrest for 30 days.

FFK held a media conference after the arrest regarding these developments. Through the General Secretary Taulant Hodaj has declared that he will cooperate with the justice bodies.

Although there have been remarks regarding their behavior during the investigation process against Adem. Hodaj also added that everything will be transparent and constantly in contact with UEFA and FIFA.

The Director of the Kosovo Representative, Muharrem Sahiti, has expressed his concern that this situation is happening just a few days before the first qualifying match that Kosovo will play against Israel in Tel Aviv. Sahiti, at the conference, said that they will try to keep the team away from these developments in order not to affect the footballers.

It should be noted that just a few days ago, Agim Ademi was acquitted of charges for a case that happened many years ago and that was not related to football.
