Fonseca: Against Napoli we had the best attack, that's where we limped

For Milan's coach, Paulo Fonseca, regardless of the result, his team did well against Napoli.

Speaking to the media after the 0-2 loss in "San Siro", the head of the "reds" bench said that the team must improve in defense, as according to him the attack has a lot of quality.

"I think those who played did well. I'm not looking for excuses, I believe in all the players and they showed it. We can say that important players are missing, but I don't know if I would have done better with them. What I'm doing I see is the growth of the team. We need to improve in defense, but I have never seen any team that has put on the field the attacking quality that we had against Napoli", said Fonseca first.

Further, when asked about Rafael Leao, he said that he is not begging any player to play.

"I don't want to go into details. I don't beg any player, I manage things differently. There is no conflict between us, his absence in the formation was only a tactical solution" - declared the coach of Milan.

Milan is suffering from the lack of positive results in the last few weeks in the championship, as after nine games it ranks eighth in Serie A with 14 points. /CNA
