The best Asian player in the world, Son triumphs for the fourth time

Tottenham striker Heung-Min Son wins the Asian International Player of the Year award for the fourth time.

The 32-year-old from South Korea was voted the best international footballer by the Asian Football Confederation.

This award was presented to Son at the awards ceremony that took place on Tuesday.

Heung-Min Son has been named the best Asian player anywhere in the world, with the forward having been crucial to Tottenham's squad in 2024.

The 32-year-old ended last season with 17 goals and 10 assists with the Tottenham team.

As for the start of the 2024-2025 season, so far the South Korean striker has scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists.

However, just as for the "Golden Ball" in the Asian awards, the evaluations are made for the season that has ended. /CNA
