UEFA confirms Inter is the best team in Europe

Simone Inzaghi's Inter are currently the best team in Europe according to UEFA's seasonal rankings for the 2024–2025 edition.

With a total of 36,750 points accumulated thanks to impressive performances in European competitions, the Blues have proven a high level of consistency and efficiency in the 13 matches they have played so far in the Champions League. This result puts Inter at the top of the list, ahead of some of the traditional giants of the continent.

Just behind Inter, in second place is Barcelona, ??the Italians' opponents in the Champions League semi-finals, with 36,250 points. Barcelona have also had a solid run this season, with consistent performances that have returned them to the highest levels of European football after a few turbulent years.

Arsenal are in third place with 36,000 points, confirming the positive form of the London team, which for the first time in a long time is seriously competing for a European trophy. All three of these teams are still in the race for the Champions League and the rankings clearly reflect the impact that progress in the advanced stages of the tournament has on a club's overall coefficient.
