OFFICIAL/ Striker signs with Juventus

Arkadiusz Milik has extended his contract with Juventus until 2027. After widespread speculation on Tuesday, official confirmation from the Turin club has now arrived.

The Polish striker, who has not played a single match this season due to successive injuries, will continue to be part of Juventus.

The club's official announcement states: "Juventus announces that it has reached an agreement with Arkadiusz Milik to extend the player's contract until June 30, 2027. The Polish striker, part of the team since August 2022, has so far scored 17 goals in 75 matches played with the black and white jersey."

With the contract extension, Milik has accepted a €3.5m salary cut over two seasons, reducing the financial impact of the contract on the club's balance sheet. However, the deal does not rule out a possible departure in the summer transfer window, possibly on loan.

This option would allow the 31-year-old to return to the field of play with more consistency, after a period of frequent interruptions due to physical problems. The salary reduction also makes him more accessible to other clubs that may be interested in his services.

Despite this situation, Milik remains focused on his commitments with Juventus for the moment. In a post on social media, he expressed his motivation to return to the field.

Born in 1994, Milik has been part of Juventus since 2022. Under the guidance of coach Massimiliano Allegri, he has won one trophy with the club, specifically the Coppa Italia in the 2023-2024 season. In that final against Inter held at the Stadio Olimpico, Milik participated for about ten minutes of play.
