Sensational/ Calhanoglu "betrays" Inter, starts talks with other club

Hakan Calhanoglu could leave Inter during the summer transfer window, with Galatasaray having shown concrete interest in the Turkish midfielder.

The news was made public by journalist Serhat Akin, a close friend of the player, who said that Calhanoglu has confirmed to him that he is in talks with the Turkish club. The footballer has expressed his desire to play for Galatasaray, while the Istanbul club has initiated contacts regarding the transfer.

There is still no official offer from Inter, but Calhanoglu's agent is expected to travel to Turkey in the coming days. Inter value the midfielder at 40 million euros, while Galatasaray are willing to offer up to 25 million euros. Talks are in the preliminary stage and could take place in the coming weeks.
