Real-City duel makes history, Spaniards in slight advantage

Another chapter in the rivalry between Real Madrid and Manchester City will be written in the Champions League.

The two teams have faced each other 15 times, with a slight advantage for the Madrid team, who have 6 wins, compared to the English team's 5 and 4 draws.

They have met six times in the knockout stages, with Real winning four times and City twice.

In the 2022-23 season, City won 4-0 at the Etihad in the semi-finals and then lifted the trophy. A year later, Real eliminated the English and continued their path to European triumph.

This is the fifth time in a row that they have faced each other in the knockout stages. The objective of both teams remains the final on May 30 in Budapest.
