Cristiano Ronaldo ka njoftuar blerjen e 25% të aksioneve të Almeria, skuadër që garon në Segunda Division dhe aktualisht renditet në vendin e tretë në Spanjë.

Investimi i jep klubit mbështetje në objektivin për t’u ngjitur në elitën e futbollit spanjoll. Ronaldo e cilësoi këtë hap si pjesë të ambicies për të kontribuar në futboll edhe jashtë fushës së lojës.

Sipas tij, Almeria ka baza të qëndrueshme dhe potencial për zhvillim të mëtejshëm. Investimi do të administrohet përmes strukturës së tij, ‘CR7 Sports Investments’.

Ditët e fundit kishte spekulime për një mbyllje të mundshme të karrierës së tij në Almeria, por bëhej fjalë për këtë operacion financiar. Ky është investimi i parë i madh i Ronaldos në një klub spanjoll.
