Atalanta in excellent form, triumphs over Torino

Atalanta continued their positive run by winning 2-0 against Torino in Bergamo, to record their ninth victory in their last 11 matches in all competitions.

This success keeps the Bergamo team in the race for the European zone of Serie A, while confirming the good moment in the championship.

The match started in the best possible way for the home team, who took the lead in the 13th minute. De Ketelare took advantage of a corner kick and scored with a precise deflection at the near post. This was the Belgian's first league goal since September.

The victory was sealed only in the final seconds of the match, when Mario Pashalic took advantage of a precise exit into the area and scored the second goal, securing the three points for Atalanta.

With this result, La Dea remains in seventh place, but only three points away from the top six teams.

On the other hand, Torino missed the opportunity to win three consecutive Serie A transfers for the first time since May 2023 and drops to 12th place in the standings.
