Only one detail is missing, Maignan's future is decided

The contract renewal between Milan and Mike Maignan is very close to being finalized, but has not yet been officially closed.

The parties have reached an agreement on the personal terms of the goalkeeper, who has clearly expressed his desire to stay in Milan.

The new contract is expected to last until 2029, with an option for the 2030 season. Maignan's base salary will increase significantly, from 2.8 million euros to 5.5 million euros per season, while with bonuses it could reach up to 7 million.

 This renewal would place him at the highest level of the team. The last obstacle remains the issue of commissions for agents. The player's representatives are seeking a favorable agreement, taking advantage of the fact that the current contract expires in 2026.

The next meeting between the parties is expected to be decisive for closing the agreement.
