Serious accusations from Saudi Arabia: Ronaldo is being given the title

The championship in Saudi Arabia has been engulfed in strong controversy just six weeks before the end of the season.

The Al Ahli team has issued serious accusations against the refereeing, claiming that their decisions are directly affecting the race for the championship title.

According to Al Ahli's leaders, successive mistakes, especially in the recent draw against Al Faja, have damaged the authenticity of the championship and favored the ranking of the leading teams.

The accusations have taken on an even more personal dimension through Al Ahli player Galeno. The latter, through a reaction on social media, has hinted that the league is doing everything to "gift" the title to a specific player, alluding to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Al Nassr currently lead the league by two points over Simone Inzaghi's Al Hilal, and a win in their next match would take them within striking distance of the trophy. For the 41-year-old Portuguese, it would be his first title since moving to Saudi Arabia in 2023.
