Premier League clubs challenge Barcelona for Asllani

The future of Fisnik Asllani is becoming one of the hottest topics in the transfer market, as the Kosovo striker has attracted the attention of European giants after his excellent form with Hoffenheim.

In addition to interest from Bundesliga clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, the 23-year-old's name is being persistently floated around Barcelona's offices as a possible successor to Robert Lewandowski.

The Catalans' bid for his signature is being seriously challenged by the Premier League, with Chelsea and Tottenham reportedly ready to make offers. Although his market value is estimated at around €30m, Hoffenheim are aiming to make at least €50m from his sale in the summer.

With contacts already confirmed between the player's agent and interested clubs, it seems almost certain that next season will find Asllan in a new championship.
