Heavy snowfall, frost and low temperatures have gripped the country.

The Municipality of Shkodra announces that the snowfall continues to be present and for this reason the Kir-Shosh road axis is blocked.

According to the announcement, there were problems with electricity in Postriba, Rrethina, Gur i Zi, Velipoja, Ana e Mali.

Also, the municipality of Shkodra appeals to citizens to be careful when driving and avoid unnecessary trips.

Notice:

Snowfalls continue to be present, while in the mountainous areas of the territory of the Shkodër Municipality, there has been a significant decrease in temperatures.

• The Boga - Bregu i Lumi road axis is passable
• The Kir - Shosh road axis is blocked due to landslides and snowfall.
Administrative units Shale and Shosh are without electricity. Problems with energy supply have also been reported in Nj. A. Postribë, Rrethina, Gur i Zi, Velipoja, Ana e Mali. OSHEE crews are on site to repair damage caused by bad weather, including snow and wind storms.

 Caution for drivers:
Traffic in mountainous areas should only be carried out with winter tires and chains.
