Relatives and colleagues describe him as a dedicated teacher and a calm person, who had made a continuous contribution to education, despite the difficulties. His uncle, Besim Bejleri, says that the 52-year-old came from a family with a tradition in education and was dedicated to students, while for years he had also faced health problems. According to him, he had wanted to be closer to his family, but continued to work in remote areas.

"There are 17 teachers in our family, but he was special, quiet, hardworking and a believer. He was a contributor to the children. Politics wears you out and wears you out, you know these things. He wasn't at work when they put him to work, they took him to the Maliqi area, to a remote area. He had asked to be brought to Devoll, but now they have brought him. I appeal to all politicians that people who are sick should be close to their families. He died in the middle of the road and left a great legacy. Be careful, politicians, don't make fun of the health of others. Be smart and think about these people. He was a man with two universities and was unemployed. He had been working for 5-6 years. He never complained, he came about 7 km away from school, both on the way and on the way back. He only came for two students," says the uncle.

Even colleagues underline his dedication, emphasizing that for years he traveled long distances every day to go to school, often on foot, in difficult infrastructural conditions.

"Albani is part of the pedagogical community and comes from a family of teachers. He was a dedicated teacher, gave his best at work and faced physical difficulties that brought him to this point. He went through difficulties because of the road and the distance. He would go every day to Lozhan and then continue on foot. He has been in this routine for about 4-5 years, maybe even more. He had no heart problems, but he was diabetic. He told me that there were times when the road was blocked and we didn't expect it. Life has these things," says teacher Endri Fifo.

Meanwhile, his friends add that job transfers and distance from home had made the teacher's daily life even more difficult.

"They transferred him for political reasons, he was right-wing. He had many years of experience in education. He would walk about 8 km. He would leave the car and then walk towards the village," says one of the friends.

It is initially suspected that the death may have been due to natural causes, while official confirmation from authorities on the full circumstances of the incident is awaited. The incident has sparked reactions in the community, bringing to light the challenges faced by teachers in remote areas of the country. /CNA
