"We celebrate Easter because it is a great Christian holiday. We make red eggs, we make meat roasted on a spit, we also make good breads like çyrek, which are smeared with egg. They also put an egg in the çyrek. This holiday is family-oriented, it's not like people go out and visit each other. It's good to take something from the Fair and take it home for the good of the house. A clay thing, like a shoe that we used to say in the old days, brings good luck. Korça has always been that both Muslims go to church and Christians go to the mosque, you know that," said the citizen.
