With the change in temperatures, the number of patients who go to the Health Centers and the pediatric emergency has increased.

"The number of visits is increasing. I can go up to 35 or even 40 visits a day" - said pediatrician Sonila Brati.

Typical viruses of this season are upper respiratory tract infections and high fever in children.

"Very high temperatures in children that go 39-40 and without any other kind of symptoms that actually go on for long days. It is upper respiratory tract infections that are more frequent that have been almost the entire summer period. There is a return of conjunctivitis, or what is otherwise known as the eye flu, which has become more evident in recent days," she added.

Parents should be more careful during this period.

"The only care should be for the high temperature. Care should be taken regarding gatherings in closed premises. The nutrition we recommend is home-made things, not bought outside, fruits, vegetables, giving as much liquid as possible" - emphasized the doctor, euronews reports.

Care should also be taken in terms of clothing, because temperatures fluctuate constantly.
