Today, the new academic year has started in all universities of the country. The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu was present at the University of Medicine, where in her speech to the students who will sit for the first time in the university's auditoriums, she said that with the decision to increase the quotas for this academic year, we prepare for tomorrow's needs.

“Lajmi i mirë këtë vit është se 100 studentë më shumë i janë shtuar Fakultetit të Mjekësisë, po kaq edhe Fakultetit të Shkencave Teknike Mjekësore, duke bërë të mundur rritjen e kuotave në fakultetet tona, në të cilat ne duam jo thjesht të rrisim numrin e studentëve në universitete, por gjithashtu të përgatitemi për t’i bërë ballë asaj që do të jetë e nesërmja, në funksion të plotësimit të nevojave me mjekë, me infermierë, me teknikë të shkencave mjekësore aq shumë të nevojshëm për të ardhmen tonë”, tha Manastirliu.

Në fjalën e saj, Ministrja Manastirliu tha se studentët kanë mundësi të ushtrojnë praktikat e tyre mësimore në ambiente moderne, falë investimeve që qeveria shqiptarë ka bërë në të gjitha spitalet e vendit, duke nisur me Qendrën Spitalore Universitare “Nënë Tereza”.

“Ashtu sikurse i’a dolëm që të kemi një laborator të parë të bio-simulimit mjekësor, aq shumë të kërkuar nga studentët e mjekësisë; ashtu sikurse ndërtuam Spitalin Kirurgjikal me sallën digjitale që i shërben studentëve të mjekësisë; sikurse ndërtuam depon e barnave farmaceutike, një prej bërthamave shumë të rëndësishme ku studentët e Farmacisë mund të ushtrojnë praktikat e tyre, gjithashtu investimet në Klinikën e Stomatologjisë për praktikat ashtu sikurse studentët e Stomatologjisë meritojnë që të realizojnë praktikat e tyre, po investojmë dhe po mbyllim shumë shpejt Spitalin e ri të Sëmundjeve të Brendshme dhe Spitalin Infektiv, që gjithashtu përfundon së shpejti, me mjedise të posaçme të auditorëve për studentët”, tha Manastirliu.
