Vaccine against cancer in girls / Doctor, Rovena Daja: It is applied from the age of 13

The head of the National Vaccination Program, Rovena Daja, has announced that the cancer vaccine is being applied to girls at the age of 13.

In an interview for Euronea Albania Daja said that it is not a new vaccine, it is a vaccine that has been used in the world since 2006 and has given results

"Already all girls from the age of 13 will have the opportunity to be vaccinated for free with the HPV vaccine. This is not a new vaccine, it is a vaccine that has been used in the world since 2006 and has given results", said Daja.

All girls can receive this medical service at all health centers.

"The program is extended throughout the year in the fight against cancer. There are many parents who have bought them for their daughters and used them. We have requests for many girls not only 13 years old, but also 14 and 15 years old", she said further. /CNA.al
