Manastirliu gives the good news/ Soon, the HPV vaccine to protect girls from cervical cancer

The Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, the head of the department of infectious diseases, Silva Bino, and the director of the Institute of Public Health, Eugena Tomini

Through a post on Facebook, the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, gave the good news about the soon arrival of the vaccine to protect girls from cervical cancer.

"In the last preparations of the national vaccination calendar, the vaccine against HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) for girls is added to protect them from cervical cancer", writes Manastirliu.

In the framework of the Cervical Cancer Prevention Program, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, together with the director of the Institute of Public Health, Eugena Tomini and the head of the department of infectious diseases, Silva Bino, have given the good news for the introduction of the HPV vaccine soon into the vaccination calendar./ BA - CNA.al
