If you wake up at the last minute, just before we leave for work, then we don't have time for breakfast. If we don't eat anything in the morning, it will affect the rest of the day. We will be hungry when we get to the office and are much more likely to consume caloric products or snack during the day or evening hours when we are more relaxed.
Coffee is high in calories
Coffee in general is a drink that doesn't make you fat, as long as you drink it plain. If you add various sweeteners, milk, whipped cream or anything else you can imagine, then it makes sense that the calories you get from it will increase without you realizing it. What is the solution? We gradually reduce the sugar in coffee or look for other sweeteners, such as saccharin or stevia.
We only drink coffee
A classic bad habit that many people may have. When we wake up, we desperately want to drink coffee, then rush to get ready to leave for the office, not eating anything... The empty stomach will protest at some point and most likely push us to consume high-calorie foods.
Breakfast outside
If you leave the house without even drinking coffee and look for your breakfast at a nearby bakery or cafe, then you may be tempted to buy something that you would not consume if you were at home.
We don't read labels
When we buy products for our breakfast from the supermarket, we have to be very careful about what the labels say. The seemingly innocent cereals we feed our children can also contain very high amounts of sugar. Especially the tastiest ones, the ones with chocolate.
Complete carbohydrates
Our favorite breakfast items, pancakes, crepes, bread, croissants, croissants are full of carbohydrates. And in fact, they contain the so-called bad carbohydrates, which make us fat and do not create a feeling of satiety, making us hungry much faster than we should. For breakfast to be balanced, it should contain both protein and good fats.
Food in the car
If you have a bad habit of eating on the way to the office, it is almost certain that you will eat more. If you buy food specifically from outside, then the chances of it being high in calories and fattening increase.
Beware of juices and smoothies
Fruits are very healthy but contain a lot of sugar. But it's definitely better to eat fruit than drink juice, especially if that juice is packaged. Packaged juices have a lot of preservatives and a lot of sugar, so they are not the best choice for breakfast or any other moment of the day. Instead, choose fresh juices with no added sugar.
The same goes for smoothies. They are healthy, but it depends on the ingredients. If you haven't prepared it yourself, look carefully at their ingredients because they can be high in calories and you wouldn't know it.
Eat very early in the morning
If you are an early riser, then it is best not to eat right after waking up as it is certain that you will be very hungry before lunch.

Water is the necessary element to properly start our day, while it activates the metabolism, creates the feeling of satiety and also contributes to weight loss. Many of us forget to drink water, especially in the winter months and this is not good for the overall functioning of our body.

The key is to always have the necessary supplies at home to support your efforts.
