The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has appeared at a press conference, where he also touched on the detention of the DP observer in Pogradec.

Berisha said that his election is an organized trap and he is being held in prison as a voter resister.

Berisha further invited the Democrats to continue their mission to protect the free vote.

The leader of the DP declared that no political power can hide the theft of the elections by the drug regime.

" I demand the immediate release of observer Luan Tollozhina. The whole incident is a police trap, organized against him. He is being held in prison only as a resister and defender of the vote."

I invite the democrats and all opposition members to continue this mission as the mission of all missions of an opposition, the protection and restoration of the free vote. No political power will be able to hide the truths of the theft of the elections by the narco-regime of Tirana. Those who ignore that these elections were stolen in the most criminal and anti-democratic ways will be disappointed later when we have proven to every Albanian and in every capital of Europe and the world the ugliness of this electoral farce ", said Berisha./ CNA
