Decision on votes from Greece/ Celibashi: We have requested evidence from DHL

The State Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, at a media conference held this Tuesday evening, also spoke about the decision of the KAS, which rejected the decision of the chief commissioner to suspend the counting of votes received from Greece.

In response to this, Celibashi said that he has not yet received a notification from KAS regarding this decision.

Regarding the allegations about the work of the postal service, Celibashi stated that the CEC has requested from DHL all the evidence that the envelopes were personally distributed in Greece.

"We have not yet received a notification, although it may seem strange, from the KAS regarding this decision. We will also request the justification of the decision, as to which aspects this decision has been canceled. From a practical point of view, we are at the end of this process and I do not know how much sense it would make to have another administrative protocol of envelopes received by voters from abroad for Greece. We asked DHL for all the evidence that the envelopes were personally distributed in Greece," Celibash said./CNA
