Former Democratic Party MP Dashnor Sula stated today that the DP should have formed a coalition with all opposition parties in order to maximize the vote from the May 11 elections. In a television appearance, Sula also spoke about his situation, after being left out of the lists for MPs.
Sula said that the party closed its doors to him because he was told that he was worthless and no longer wanted as part of it.
"The DP should have formed a coalition with all opposition parties in order to maximize the vote. I couldn't work because they told me I was worthless and we don't need you anymore. They didn't consider me on either the closed or open list. As the saying goes, "I don't take a woman by force or a man by force". I'm at the door, they close the door, I can't get in.
