The Democrats have followed the reactions against the changes to the law on science, which provides that the research will be supervised by a structure under Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The head of FRPD, Besart Xhaferri, says that scientific research is the backbone of the University, so he asks pedagogues to kill fear and come to the forefront of the resistance against this draft law that, if approved, will be an annihilating blow for public higher education.

"The least educated government that this country has had since the creation of the Albanian State has proposed in the Parliament a draft law for science and scientific research, which envisages the establishment of a ministry for science and an advisory body to the Prime Minister.

Students will join them in resistance in confronting the caste of rectors and deans with plagiarism that Rama has appointed for his petty anti-national interests.

The Democratic Party will take this anti-national draft law to the Constitutional Court and repeal it on the first day it comes to power", writes the head of the FRPD on social networks./ CNA
