Xhafaj "takes out the teeth" of Duman

Fatmir Xhafaj, with the support of Prime Minister Edi Rama, organized a meeting of his committee, where he also called the ambassadors accredited to Albania.

Xhafaj "knocked out the teeth" of the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, who is fighting corruption, selling the meeting as a meeting for the process of deepening the reforms of good governance, rule of law and anti-corruption.

He declared that he will see his project through to the end, despite the challenges that will come his way.

"When we started this process more than a year ago, we had to clarify ourselves, initially as a majority. Even in the talks and discussions with Edi Rama, first to agree between us to give way to the project with reforms, which was also accompanied by doubts and speculations where not a single document had yet been made public.

Time is proving the opposite, just as it happened with the justice reform. Because even as with the justice reform, we have a project to carry out for new state-building transformations. We faced these challenges to make Albania's easy path to the EU in 2030. This is the path that is not in the interest of our children and their future to consolidate democracy and the rule of law," Xhafaj emphasized./ CNA
