The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, expressed his belief that he will win the 2025 parliamentary elections, in the meeting with the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Lezha.

Berisha said that PD will win because of the program it has, while he made some promises to the citizens.

He declared that he will increase salaries, pensions and will put them in proportion to the payments for water and energy.

That these are not indifferent to salaries, no. They increased their salaries and I tell the Albanians that they are the highest salaries in the region, absolutely. They receive more than in Slovenia, which is among the highest in the EU. But there is a proportion, one does not go crazy. To set a salary of 7 thousand euros and a pension of 100 euros, 150 euros. Nobody does that.

The US president earns 4 times the average salary. Because those 4 employees with an average salary have families to support, the president does too, but so do they. But the president of the USA, nor the German chancellor, nor anyone else, never gets 10 average salaries. So we have the model ready.
