Diaspora Vote/Topalli: Challenge, key factor for rotation

Jozefina Topalli has spoken about her commitment to the Democratic Party as the political leader of this party for the Diaspora.

Topalli called this task a challenge, emphasizing that the vote of immigrants is decisive.

"I do not hide from political challenges and difficulties. I have accepted the task assigned to me, which is very unique planetaryally. I believe that if there is a strong will and hard work, but this time the decisive and key factor that will make the rotation is the diaspora, the Albanians living abroad and the opportunity that will be given to them to vote," said Topalli.

She also explained that, although funds are limited for organizing large activities, the Democratic Party is committed to working in open offices in places where Albanians live, with the help of opposition supporters.

"It's not that we have a lot of funds to hold luxurious meetings in stadiums or hotels, but we are trying, with the help of opposition supporters, to work in open offices in the countries where they live. I believe that the numerical weight of Albanians who have the right to vote outside Albania is balanced with the electoral weight of votes within the country. However, it remains to be seen how much they will mobilize to register and vote," Topalli said./ CNA
