Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a daily column with reactions to comments and questions addressed on social platforms, took aim at the opposition while mentioning the case of the previous day where a child from Gaza was treated at the QSUT.
Rama responded to two commentators who criticized the Government for not providing medical services to Albanian children. In this case, the Prime Minister took a dig at the opposition, telling the commentators that they are influenced by the scum of the forums, channels and portals, which "sell" as if people in Albania would die for an aspirin.
"I'm curious to know when you write these things, are you serious or just angry with my mother-in-law? I'm in bed with the miller. I agree that you are very angry with the government. This seems very wet and it's not your fault. But for anger towards the government to lead you to the point of talking so wildly is to fall for yourself and spread lies on behalf of those who are caught in lies like a drowning man by a blade of grass, and you know who I'm talking about. Where have you seen these children that we left to die?
"Of course, it's a rhetorical question, but I sincerely assure you that I don't blame you for your anger, the filth of the pulpits, channels, portals where you immerse yourself, and it's normal that here it seems like people die for an aspirin," Rama said.
Recall that two days ago, the DP denounced a case where it showed with footage how patients were receiving medication while sitting in chairs.
"Unprecedented situation! Rama and his drug minister don't even have money for armchairs! They steal! They steal! Crime! Crime!", the DP leader said alongside the photo./ CNA
